Summary
of changes to the bylaws: To include communication
methods such as e-mail and fax and delete communication
methods such as cable and radio. The bylaw changes also
include that membership will be expired by April 1st
each year and the time in which At-Large Directors will
be elected, changing it from the District meetings to
the Annual Business Meeting of the Membership in conjunction
with the Annual Convention since these Directors can
be from anywhere in the state and not from a specific
district. Please click
here to review the complete bylaw changes. Anything
with a strike through is recommended for deletion and
anything underlined is recommended as additions to the
bylaws.
Please
email Leigh Ann Bradley at leighann@executiveoffice.org
should you have any questions about these bylaw changes
or the annual business meeting of the membership in
July.

For
over 100 years, the Florida Funeral Directors Association,
also known as FFDA, has maintained a vigil in Florida’s
state capital, effectively pursuing the best interests
of Florida funeral directors and the families we serve.
As
the major source of communication, resources and benefits
for Florida funeral directors, FFDA carries the torch
of the traditional funeral institution while tapping
into the strengths of its members to meet the challenges
of the changing needs of society.
With
the support of its valued members, FFDA has consistently
established reliable contacts in order to develop a
network of trust that produces positive results for
all funeral professionals and the future of the profession.
As a result of these many years of increasingly important
involvement in representing funeral-related issues,
FFDA has become known as the voice of funeral service
