2007 FFDA District Tour Meetings
Thank you to everyone who attended the 2007
District Tour meetings. Our
2007 Tour was an enormous success. It was great to see
old friends and make new ones. During each meeting, Funeral Service
Inc. and Batesville each presented a very informative presentation.
Our 10 districts were consolidated into 5 and elections where
held for our open board of directors positions. Along
with receiving continuing education, dinner and being able to
network with others, a raffle drawing was held with prizes from
gift certificates to Outback & Ritz Carlton and $100 in cash. Please
continue to check the website for updates on the 2008 District

2007 FFDA Annual Convention
Ritz Carlton Palm Beach, Palm Beach, Florida
On behalf of the Florida Funeral Directors Board of
Directors and staff, we would like to thank everyone who attended
the 113th Annual FFDA Convention. We had an exceptional turnout
for the meeting this year at our host hotel, the Ritz Carlton
Palm Beach in Palm Beach, Florida. Attendees were able to enjoy
excellent educational presentations from our speakers on everything
from current legal issues and post death counseling to the
value of association membership and even identity theft. The
Ritz Carlton Palm Beach was the perfect setting for revitalizing
our FFDA Annual Convention. From the FFDA Annual Golf Tournament
to the Annual Banquet, attendees were able to relax, learn,
and enjoy the benefits of being a member of the Florida Funeral
Directors Association. |
