FFDA District Tour/Elections

The Florida Funeral Directors Association District Tour meetings were held from February through June of this year. Each of them were a success and many got to see friends and colleagues they haven’t seen since last convention.  A very special thanks is in order to Bill Williams and Funeral Services Inc. along with Chris Lowery and Batesville who supported the District Tour through sponsoring the event.  We encourage you to use FSI and Batesville for your funeral home needs. 

At the District Tour elections were held.  The following people were elected this spring and were tapped into office at the annual Inauguration Ball held on July 14th, 2007. 

District 1 – Ted Beggs
District 2 – Lew McGann
District 3 – Peri Craven
District 4 – Tim Hauck
District 5 – Mark Van Rees

At-Large Seats: Paul Mitchell, A. B. Coleman III and Robin Giddens-Sheppard.

Congratulations to all that even been elected and re-elected to the 2007-2008 FFDA board.
